HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

This ole gal visits once a year and will soon go back into her hiding
place until next year.  She is a creation of Dee Gann who is known for her
wonderful, one of a kind Santa's.

So happy to be back. . . . . . after a few health challenges following my trip to England.  It was thought that a little ole parasite had taken a free trip back to the states via my intestinal tract, but all proved to be negative.  After undergoing a few more  tests that also proved to be negative, I am happy to say that all is slowly returning to normal.  It has been a long haul with surges of weakness that zapped the life out of me and frightened me at times.

Her vintage clothing is a feature that makes her witches so
full of character.  Each one is different and boasts a personality
unlike any I have ever seen.

That special guest that we waited for has come and gone and I did mange to make it through
that weekend. . . . . . .our youngest daughter brought home a very special someone for us to meet and all could not have been more comfortable and enjoyable.

I have also traveled to Sarasota, Florida and back,  (a post to be done on this trip)  with 13 sorority sisters,  celebrated a birthday with a surprise luncheon (planned for me with dear friends by my two precious daughters). . . .

A birthday bouquet sent to me from two very special people who
were unable to attend.  Have you ever seen such a beautiful collection
of flowers?

. . . Chinese lanterns, garden roses, cockscomb and hydrangeas

More roses, bittersweet, snaps and hydrangea.  As for the artist,
Pam, from Sweet Pea in La Grange, Illinois.

In the midst of it all, professional family photos were taken, a grand daughter celebrated
her birthday, design appointments cancelled and rescheduled and now we are pretty much up to date and on track with life.  So sorry for my absence, I have really missed you all.

HAVE A SAFE AND HAPPY HALLOWEEN.

It is so good to see you back and on the mend, Mary Anne. How nice of you to introduce us to your very remarkable witch. I like her attitude.

Keep getting better.
